Yılmaz Açık Science fiction, which is supposed to have started with the Greek writer Lukianos in the 2nd century, started to appear in Turkish literature for the first time in the 19th century with Jules Verne translations. In this period, although Ahmet Mithat Efendi's A Science Novel or American Doctors (1888) took its place in Turkish literature as the first copyrighted work, there was no interest in this genre for a very long time. Science fiction, which continued its existence with very few works published until the 1970s, became more visible in the 1980s with the influence of fanzines and science fiction magazines published after the 1970s. After 1980, the novels published in America and Europe were translated into Turkish and with the effect of science fiction films in cinema, it started to take its place in Turkish literature, especially after 2000.
In this book, the place and development of science fiction in Turkish literature has been tried to be revealed by examining the novels published in the genre of science fiction after 1980.

İbrahim Demirci We present one of the most comprehensive books about Ahmet Hâşim, one of the great poets of Turkish Poetry: Ahmet Hâşim's Prose. Ahmet Hâşim, the strong, subtle and wild poet of O Belde, Staircase, Carnation, Piyale, Nightingale, Garden, Suvari, enriched our language and literature with his prose. Ahmet Hâşim, who added "experimental" depth and flavor to almost all of his anecdotes, interviews and travel writings, which he published in various newspapers and magazines and only one third of which he made into a book, avoided being the plaything of literary movements and political ideologies; was able to look at the world with free, curious, sometimes childish and mischievous eyes; benefited as much as possible from the cultural accumulation of all humanity; He produced in-depth texts with an aesthetic approach. İbrahim Demirci, with the meticulousness of a jeweler, dealt with all his prose, both published and unpublished, in this study; evaluated both in terms of content and form. This work, which is a basic source in the context of Hashim's prose, is not a tribute to Hashim, who has already deserved such works, but a duty.
“But why should it be necessary to think like so-and-so in order to have thought right?” “You had to have a soul for you to understand me, and that soul had to be poisoned in a way that was incurable, like the soul of our fellow countryman Loti.” “Mosque and human, robe and turban, barbecue and hookah are not what is called orient; The Orient sees and hears them and adopts them while seeing them. / Literature is in the air of life and in the nets of nerves. Our painters will know this the day they are ready to get out of the turpentine-smelling air of their ateliers.” “Of all the temples, it is the mosque that gets the first light from the sun. Minarets with copper arrows rise in the air to see the sun first.” “No face is as beautiful in reality as it seems in the imagination.” “In Istanbul, there are many poets who are incapable of using their wings, like bees falling into a honey pot, and walk with their feet in shambles, as opposed to a poet whose arm was struck by the electrical wires of a political issue without his knowledge, but once or twice in his life in Istanbul.” “No artist wants to talk about his work to others before creating it. Because a work whose secret has been exposed is doomed to die before it is born.” “One of the last definitions of art, which has been described differently in every era, is this: 'A means of compensating for the caresses that real life has denied us.'” “Germany is a big pink apple. But it is wormy inside.” “A nation that is constantly worried about whether I am loved or not is a nation that has given up hope of being liked.”

"Being able to take part in academic life, which should be an environment where the truth is sought by discussing and discussing, requires human respect as much as respect for truth. Truth morality is the morality of people who seek the truth. There is no human being in a structure without values that create this morality. Here, this book is an inspiration for academic moral life from different perspectives. It consists of studies that reveal the values that should be and the problems in living these values. I respectfully welcome the efforts of the compilers and authors, and I wish that the university, which should be a respected institution, will walk towards competence step by step with such studies."

“Prof. Dr. Fahri Apaydın and Assoc. Dr. This unique work, titled "Violations of Ethics in Academia", prepared for publication by Sinan Kadir Çelik, reflects the ethical situation of the academy. When it comes to academia, the first thing that comes to mind is mobbing. mobbing; It causes mental health disorders, loss of self-confidence, loss of self-esteem, and suicide in people. It is very important to raise awareness on this issue and to make legal arrangements immediately. We know that mobbing incidents occur frequently in Turkey, especially in universities, and that administrators tend to cover up. In this respect, the work we have is the writing and disclosure of what was covered up by the academics themselves.”
prof. Dr. Kemal Kocabaş, Dokuz Eylul University

In my second article, the author; the perception of scientific research was restructured with the experience gained from nearly fifty years of research, training and consultancy services in the field of Research Methodology. All perceptual wills, which were observed to be effective in the decision processes of real life, were included in the field of scientific interest. Thus, it was aimed to remove or alleviate the limitations of scientific research experienced in understanding, explaining and controlling life as a whole.
In the first part of the book, "Scientific Will Perception Framework" and "Research Education"; In the second part, "Research Processes" from defining the research problem to preparing a report were tried to be presented as a whole with the basic concepts, principles and techniques. With this form, it is aimed that the book will be a resource that those who are interested in research in almost every field and at every level can choose and benefit from.
The details of preparing the report are given in the book "Report Preparation in Research" with the addition of "Research and Publication Ethics", which was published in the twenty-first edition together with the second article prepared by the author with the same perception framework.
Mustafa Akdağ The purpose of the book; The aim is to provide researchers with the skills to choose an appropriate statistical test in the analysis of quantitative data, to apply the chosen test by following the correct steps, and to explain and interpret the results of the analysis. This was taken into account in the creation of the content of the book. Statistical test selection is the first and most important step in the data analysis process. The validity and reliability of the application of the selected test and the subsequent comments depend on the correct test selection. Therefore, test selection is considered as the first section. Each section describes the specific conditions for choosing that test. The book includes parametric tests and non-parametric tests, which are thought to be widely used in the field of Educational Sciences. The sample applications of the tests were based on the problem situations that could be the subject of research in the field of Educational Sciences, and the analyzes were made in the SPSS-21 program on the data produced. The outputs of the analysis were explained, sample tables of these outputs that could be included in the research report were created and the data were interpreted.
Detailed theoretical information is avoided in the book, and the sample applications given are supported with explanations. In the analysis steps and explanations, possible difficulties that the researcher may encounter were taken into account as much as possible, “do your own thing” without the help of anyone else. A way to serve the understanding has been followed. It is hoped that the work will be beneficial to academicians working in the field of Social Sciences in general, and educational sciences in particular, and researchers who are doing postgraduate studies, and will guide our teachers, who are in search of excellence, to overcome the problems they encounter while doing research in the teaching process.

Alper Bayazıt, Aslıhan İstanbullu, Aylin Tutgun Ünal, Berke Kırıkkanat, Duygu Mutlu Bayraktar, Eda Bakır, Eda Birdal, Emel Dikbaş Torun, Fatih Özdinç, Ferhat Kadir Pala, Gonca Kızılkaya Cumaoğlu, Hakan İslamoğlu, Hale Ilgaz, İlknur Kuşbeyzi Aybar, Kadir Burak Olgun, Mithat Yavuzarslan, Ömer Faruk Ursavaş, Servet Bayram, Vildan Özeke On the one hand, robots, artificial intelligence, 3D printers; on the other hand, sorting and organizing huge masses of information with data analysis and storing data in the cloud… The digital age is shaping and transforming the values of our present and future to an astonishing extent. We see that many professions are reshaped today, the value of new professions directly related to information and technology is increasing day by day, and the professions of the future are shaped almost in the "cloud" in this context.
The definitions we hear popularly today, such as the German-origin Industry 4.0 and Japan-based Society 5.0 approaches, Education 4.0, Internet 4.0 and Web 5.0 are new paradigms and expansions that have emerged in this context. These new concepts are new values that need to be known globally. These new values create new expectations and new markets. Undoubtedly, it is teachers who will best explain the scope, meaning and value of these populist concepts expressed in digital transformation.
This book has been prepared in order to explain the new paradigms that are taking shape in the “cloud”, their infrastructure and basic dynamics especially to teacher candidates. Apart from teacher candidates, we think that this study will be a useful educational resource for those who want to look at the field of "Information Technologies" as a whole.
Ebru Şalcıoğlu What is asked of the client in the sessions? How are the sessions scheduled? How to establish the right therapeutic relationship? How to apply effective psychotherapy? How to choose therapy methods? How is permanent improvement achieved in clients? These questions preoccupy the minds of psychotherapists who are new to the profession.
Clinician, scientist and trainer Prof. Dr. In this book, Ebru Şalcıoğlu shares her clinical experience of more than twenty years with therapists who are new to the profession and want to master the modern applications of cognitive and behavioral therapies. The development of thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and overt behaviors that characterize psychological problems, clinical evaluation in line with theoretical principles, structuring and conducting sessions, establishing therapeutic relationships, developing case formulations with information from evaluation, and research-supported basic cognitive and behavioral therapy used for psychological problems. He conveys the application of his methods to his readers in a simple language.
Case Formulation and Therapy Planning in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies: The Clinical Behavior Analysis Approach integrates clinical experience with academic knowledge, facilitating psychotherapists' therapeutic practice. It shows the way to work like a scientist and artist who develops a case formulation specific to the client with his theoretical knowledge and uses scientifically supported therapy methods in creative ways, not like a technician who applies the methods he has memorized for certain diagnoses to the therapist. This book, which is adorned with rich case examples suitable for our culture, is a unique resource that clinicians who see clients, clinicians who study, and academics who teach in the fields of clinical psychology, psychiatry, psychological counseling and psychotherapy will come back and benefit for many years.
Ayşe Kökcü Once Upon a Time Geometry is a book that tells the 2500-year history of geometry through breaking points. The most important reason for the difficulties that mathematics students face while learning pure mathematics is that they cannot establish the necessary relationship between the mathematical formulas they learn and the world they live in. Likewise, philosophy students have close thoughts about mathematics and the history of mathematics. First of all, what is wanted to be done with this book is to establish the relationship between philosophy and the history of mathematics through geometry as clearly as possible. Secondly, it is to give an idea about the position of geometry in mathematics and philosophy of mathematics.
Since Euclid's "Elements," geometry has been in a position to promise much more than ground measurement. It is about the objects that are at the center of man's understanding of himself and the universe he lives in.
The main reason for this is that geometry, besides being a type of knowledge produced by the human mind, serves as a key to understanding the universe.
İbrahim Ethem Özgüven Recognition of the individual is a two-way concept. It refers to the efforts of an individual to get to know himself or someone else to get to know the individual. Beyond fortune-telling, someone else's recognition of the individual depending on the data began with the use of scientific "observation" techniques. There have been important developments in the techniques of getting to know the individual, with the diversification and development of the occupational fields that are based on helping the individual in various aspects such as health, education, psychology, psychological counseling and social work.
The proliferation of universities, science and research institutions in our country; emphasis on scientific concepts and methods in services and studies; It has also increased the importance of techniques and approaches to collect information about the individual as a data collection tool.
Individual Recognition Techniques book, in all fields of science about "human and human behavior", and especially in universities, education, psychology, psychological counseling, psychiatry, measurement and evaluation, program development, classroom teaching, child development and education, management, special education, vocational and It has been prepared as a “textbook” that can be used at undergraduate level in technical education, social work, communication, public relations and other related departments.

Mazlum Çöpür In every society, the main goal is to raise children mentally and physically healthy. Although mental and physical health, the foundation of which is laid in the mother's womb, mutually affect each other, if a person who is in good physical health is not mentally healthy, he does not enjoy life and feels unhappy. Negative events in childhood do not only impair mental health during childhood, but the effects of this continue in adulthood. Selda İçin Akçalı The media has become one of the most important parts of our daily lives by transforming and often reproducing the values of the society we live in. Undoubtedly, children are the most vulnerable segment of society in the face of the media. Children are abused not only by the media, but also in other social areas – legal, political and economic.
We believe that the main purpose in any child-related problem is to evaluate the existing conditions with a realistic eye and to create and implement an emergency action plan with the participation and sensitivity of all parties. In today's world, where the diplomatic and political dimensions of events and facts come to the fore rather than the solution of the problems experienced, "The realization of children's rights is the fulfillment of responsibilities."
