Science and Mathematics \ 2-3
Arif Sabuncuoğlu This book, which is the second of two volumes prepared for the general mathematics courses taught in the Business Administration and Economics departments of our universities, has plenty of questions at the end of each section. The solution to each problem is explained broadly and clearly. Even if proofs of some theorems are not given while the subjects are being studied, it has been tried to intuit why this is the case. Some of the theorems and basic formulas have been proved.
There are enough examples in the book to explain the theorems and basic information. While introducing a new concept, the relation of this concept with previous concepts was established, and it was tried for our students to learn by understanding that information in the easiest way.

In an environment dominated by uncertainty, it is extremely important to ensure that statistics, which are used as a tool for making the right decision, are learned and comprehended both theoretically and practically. In our opinion, the most important feature of this book is that it has been prepared in such a way as to support the distance education system and self-learning effort, which has become widespread with the Covid-19 epidemic, both theoretically and practically. Therefore, in the book; first, the theoretical explanation about each section was made comprehensively, interpreted in detail with solved examples, and then the examples related to the subjects were applied using Excel, SPSS, Matlab or R software packages. Thus, it is aimed to minimize the need for teachers and classroom environment as in traditional formal education. With this book, it is expected that the deficiency in the self-learning, application and interpretation of statistics will be eliminated.
Asiye Şengül Avşar, Cansu Ayan, Çiğdem Akın Arıkan, Eren Can Aybek, Fatih Orçan, Fulya Barış Pekmezci, Sinem Demirkol, Seher Yalçın, Tuğba Karadavut In scientific research, it is important that the data analysis is done correctly, accordingly the findings are interpreted correctly and the results are delivered to the readers correctly. In this book, Jamovi, one of the open source and free software that can be used in data analysis, is introduced and sample data analyzes are carried out.
In the book, respectively; Introducing Jamovi, descriptive statistics, comparison of sample means, correlation, regression, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, mediation and regulatory analysis, effect size and power analysis, Rasch model and changing item functions in the context of item response theory with examples. explained practically. Our readers can access the data sets used in the sample applications with the QR code given in the foreword. It is thought that repeating the process steps described in the book over these shared data sets is important in increasing the permanence of learning.
Easy Statistics with Jamovi book; It is expected to guide researchers working in the field of social sciences, undergraduate and graduate students in performing their analyzes easily and without making scientific mistakes.
Ahmet Günay, Ali Murat Alparslan, Bekir Çetintav, Birsen Özalp, Elif Baygın, Elif Tatlı, Fatih Demir, Gül Bilgin, Hakan Demirgil, Halil Aslan Kılıç, Mehmet Ali Taş, Mehmet Özmen, Melis Özgiller Orhun, Mücahit Avcı, Nurdan Oral Kara, Oğuzhan Kürşat Uçar, Ömer Faruk Oktar, Ömer Lütfi Antalyalı, Seher Yastıoğlu, Selda Limon, Sema Polatcı, Tolga Gül We envied the plain and pleasant structure of Jamovi and wanted to prepare a user-friendly book worthy of it. First we set our goal. Our goal is; so that a researcher can learn to do his own analysis in an enjoyable way. In order to achieve our goal, we had to provide the information that the researcher might need while analyzing, in a plain and fluent language without entering into discussions. For each analysis, we created a research story. We wanted to immerse the reader in the story by staying away from a cold or unpleasant academic language. We tied the story to a research question. We made our readers feel that statistics is a tool to satisfy their curiosity. Afterwards, we explained all the steps of the relevant analysis with screenshots in Jamovi. We could have stopped at this point, but the researcher's need did not end there. How would the analysis results be reported? In order to meet this need, we first explained how to write an academic report after each analysis. Afterwards, we completed the study by showing how to report the results of the analysis in everyday language for practitioners.
We think that this book will contribute especially to social scientists who will just start statistical analysis. With this intention, each of our writers showed special sensitivity to their own section. They were patient with the feedback we gave and re-edited their sections to increase clarity. In addition, we gave our readers the opportunity to access the data sets in digital environment so that they can repeat the analyzes they learned in all sections. The Jamovi team has done its part to show that statistics is a pleasant world; We tried to do our part with the same motivation.
We hope that this book, which we have prepared in order to contribute to the research journey of new researchers and to make the analysis process enjoyable, will lead to many researches...

Şakir AYDOĞAN The curiosity of mankind, which started with the understanding and interpretation of his environment, has made enough progress to examine atomic-sized objects in the twenty-first century. The findings obtained by the analysis of substances, especially solid substances, at the atomic level, have made these materials indispensable materials of life in the modern world. Modern Solid State Electronics devices and integrated circuits usually encompass small sizes of metal, semiconductor or insulator materials, which are three different forms of solids. Particularly, semiconductor materials have a very important place in the field of electronics in that their electrical, optical or magnetic properties can be changed by doping. This book has been prepared to cover the basic topics in Solid State Physics-I and Solid State Physics-II courses, which are compulsory two semesters in all physics departments of our universities. In addition, considering the importance of semiconductors in their technological applications, it also includes the amplification techniques, characterization and some basic applications of semiconductors for students specializing in semiconductor physics. Nanostructures and liquid crystals, which are current topics of the modern world, also constitute the last two chapters of the book.

Hoping to contribute to the reader…
Alattin Ural From the micro level to the macro level, there is a dynamic order in life and the universe, even if it seems chaotic, and mathematics is an important tool in analyzing and expressing this order. The mathematical information revealed by the branches of science explaining nature and the universe and the information revealed by mathematics itself are in harmony within and between themselves. In short, where there is order of any kind, there is also mathematics.
Basic knowledge and skills that should be used in daily life such as measuring (number, length, area, volume, time) and calculating (shopping, determining the requirements for the completion of a job, sharing, finding direction, determining relationships, etc.) mark the emergence of mathematics. motivated. Therefore, before mathematical concepts and operations were defined, they were felt in life and the mental infrastructure of discovery was formed. When we consider numbers, shapes and properties, solving real life problems with a mathematical potential, and generally being able to reveal the solution methods to problems, as a mathematical thinking skill; It would be appropriate to define mathematics as an art of thinking. These basic elements have gradually diversified and progressed with the tendency of the mind to develop them, the desire to know and understand, the development of life in a way that will increase the use of mathematical knowledge and skills, and the increasing relations of other branches of science and art with mathematics.
The relationship between mathematics and life is quite extensive and generally covers the topics of "mathematical order in nature", "real life problems", "use of mathematics in science and art". The use of mathematics in the sciences covers a large part of the existing mathematical knowledge and the fields in which it is used are also quite extensive. The topics covered in the book are as follows: Golden Ratio (in face, body and dental aesthetics; heart, brain, lungs, gynecology, genetics, walking, finance, marketing, physics, architecture, music and painting), Polyhedrons (applications in different branches of science and art) ), Fibonacci Numbers and their uses, Spirals and Spirals in Nature, Mathematical Order in Plants, Music and Mathematics, Fractals and their Applications in Life (economics, music, genetic music, modeling natural forms, medicine, architecture, urban planning, geology, classification of fingerprints, Classification of trees, graphic design, fractal antenna, photo compression, sculpture and painting) and examples of Mathematical Modeling at the point of solving real life problems. In summary; In this book, the mathematical order of nature and the golden ratio, Fibonacci numbers, fractals and regular polyhedra, which have an important place in nature, life, art, aesthetics and some scientific fields, are emphasized.

In addition, information on probiotics and the use of probiotics in clinical spectra is presented in their latest updated versions, while different application areas of probiotics and rational nutrition are listed one after the other.
Although the effects of microbiota and probiotics on health and diseases are known, there are still many questions to be answered. Although studies on microbiota have been started in Turkey, infrastructure and standardization problems have not been resolved and there is a need for regulation in many aspects. Because this area has a strategic importance for our country. Although it is changing rapidly, our eating habits are still different from Western countries. Therefore, it is likely that we have a unique intestinal bacterial structure of our own. With the studies to be done on this subject, special diagnosis and treatment methods can be developed for us. The Microbiota, Probiotics and Rational Nutrition book, in which the latest information, experiences and the point reached are discussed by teachers working in different fields of expertise, will also be instrumental in sharing and planning on what can be done in Turkey, who will take part in what way, and how to work.
With the hope and hope that it will be useful to all its readers...
Hüseyin Kurt, Fetullah Arık Mineralogy, which means mineral science, is a science that examines the physical, chemical, geometric, optical and crystallographic properties of minerals and classifies minerals according to these properties.
General Mineralogy, which examines minerals according to their basic physical, geometric, and crystallographic properties, and Special Mineralogy, which examines minerals by classifying them according to different properties, are tried to be taught in a single semester, not in two semesters, as in the past. Although there are many printed works in this field, there is almost no Mineralogy book that deals with General and Special Mineralogy together. At the point where geology education has reached today in the world and in Turkey, more basic subjects are covered within the scope of compulsory courses and detailed information about these subjects is given either in elective courses or in graduate education. The mineralogy book has been tried to be prepared in such a way that it combines both subjects in a way that covers the basic information, is concise enough to fit in one semester, and comprehensive enough to be taught in two semesters. Therefore, the study is intended for Geological Engineers, a handbook where many information can be easily accessed, a basic textbook for mining, geophysics, environment, agriculture and biology departments dealing directly or indirectly with mineralogy, and gemstones at associate degree, drilling and mining programs, and researchers dealing with earth sciences. Efforts were made to make it a reference book. It is inevitable that there will be some deficiencies because the work is tried to be kept in a certain volume. In order for researchers to reach more detailed information, the reference works and the addresses of the relevant web sites are given in the resources section.
I hope that the book will be useful to researchers and students in other disciplines, especially in the department of geological engineering.
Ebrucan İslamoğlu This book, titled Modern Time Series and Methods, which was prepared with the motivation created by the lack and need of Turkish resources on the subject of contemporary time series methods, consists of nine chapters. The book, which is prepared in a way that can be used by both graduate students and anyone interested in the subject, includes the most up-to-date topics related to modeling and prediction of time series methods, and a simple and plain language is used in the narration.
Sedat Şen Structural equation modeling has become a frequently used methodology both in social sciences and other fields in recent years. This methodology can be used in analyzes such as scale development, examining the psychometric properties of the scale, measuring invariance, testing multivariate models, estimating direct and indirect effects, as well as providing researchers with the opportunity to test their theories on empirical data. As in other multivariate statistics, advanced computer software is needed for parameter estimation in structural equation modeling. Mplus program, which is among the structural equation modeling software, has become a prominent latent variable program in recent years thanks to the flexibility it offers. This book, which is the first work on the Mplus program written in Turkey, focuses on how to implement structural equation modeling applications with the Mplus program; Path analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural regression, latent growth models and applications of multigroup and multilevel models are included in the Mplus axis. The main purpose of this book is to facilitate the understandability and applicability of structural equation modeling for readers. Hope it will be a useful reference resource for anyone who plans to use structural equation modeling in their research with the Mplus program...
Fevzi Köksal, Rahmi Köseoğlu This book was written to fill the gap in the independent physics book especially for students in engineering and technology majors, no doubt the book is very useful for science students as well. At the same time, those who do not want to be modern people and stay behind technological advances should definitely read this book. Today, the applications and applications of physics and the wave properties of matter have increased so much that it has been necessary to write independent physics books all over the world. For this, firstly, the concepts of motion, work-energy, moments of inertia, properties of matter, real and ideal gases, liquefaction of gases, equipartition of energy, diffusion and viscosity are given briefly and strikingly, and basic physics concepts are explained in two parts and their applications are briefly shown.
Beginning from the third chapter, the examination of the wave properties of matter and their applications have been examined. These are interference, diffraction, and polarization. Thus, Young's experiment, thin films, Newton's rings and their applications are studied. Chapter four explains the diffraction phenomenon. Fresnel and Fraunhofer diffraction, diffraction grating and applications are included. The fifth chapter covers the polarization phenomenon. Polarization patterns, delay plates, bicolour, and resolution of unknown polarization are explained in detail. Here, Kerr effect, Faraday effect and photoelasticity which is important for engineering and its applications are explained. The sixth chapter is devoted to the topic of superconductivity. If the superconductivity temperature is raised to room temperature, this issue is very important for engineering, technology and science as engineering and technology in the world will change completely. The seventh chapter gives a summary of quantum mechanics, but quantum mechanical tunneling is explained in detail and its applications are given in a way that cannot be found in any book. In the eighth chapter, the subject of laser is covered, three and four-level lasers, rubi laser and its applications are listed. Gas lasers are described. In the ninth chapter, holography and fiber optics are explained and their applications are presented. In the tenth chapter, dielectric properties of materials are examined, piezoelectricity and ferroelectricity are explained, magnetization forms and applications are shown. In the eleventh chapter, thermal properties and supersonic vibrations are examined and their applications are presented. The twelfth chapter is devoted to the detection of radiation emitted from the core, Geiger-Müller and scintillation counters and their applications are explained and their applications are shown. In the thirteenth chapter, nanomaterials, their production and applications are given. Sufficiently solved exercises are included in each chapter, and the solutions to the exercises at the end of the topics are given at the end of the book.
Ali Osman Kuşakcı, Berk Ayvaz, Oğuz Borat simulation; It is a powerful tool for the design, modeling, analysis and optimization of systems and is one of the target technologies of the 21st century. This book is addressed to many different beneficiary groups, especially to engineering program students such as Industry and Mechanical engineering, where Simulation courses are taught, and professionals working in this field. For this reason, each chapter is written in as simple a language as possible and with an application-oriented approach, and is enriched with over 160 solved examples.
In the lecture, solved examples designed in different fields such as engineering, aviation, finance, manufacturing systems, logistics were used.
In the book, statistics and probability theory and distribution functions for deterministic and stochastic processes are summarized before introducing systems modeling. While dealing with discrete event simulation, data collection, measurement, basing the data on a probability distribution function and determining the distribution function parameters, Monte Carlo method were highlighted. The use of the Arena program, which is a special software designed for simulation, is demonstrated.
Laplace-Laplace inverse transforms, which are necessary for Computational Simulation, and modeling of control systems are introduced; The use of Matlab's Simulink plugin used in this area is shown.
This book, in addition to being used as a textbook at undergraduate and graduate level in its field, has been presented to the benefit and appreciation of professionals, students and academicians working in the field of simulation, in the hope that it will fill the gap in copyrighted work.
Azer Arastunoğlu Kasımzade In this book, very important fundamental issues of Differential Equations that can be included in the seminar topics of universities are discussed in order to prepare undergraduate and graduate students. Since DD solutions of Differential Equations can seldom be expressed with implicit formulas, numerical computational methods have been needed over time to approximate their solutions. For this reason, attention has been paid to give the examination properties of DD with the developed numerical solution Finite Element Method (SEM). More than 99% of today's software has been built on the basis of these methods, allowing for high-precision full-scale simulation of engineering structures. In the presented study, the traditional solution methods of Differential Equations are presented in summary form, and their applications are given in parallel with MATLAB tools. Afterwards, the features of using databases in MATLAB are explained and various applications are shown with MATLAB tools, since the analysis of Differential Equations with no implicit solution by SEM requires an extraordinarily large volume of data. For each section, education and training analysis software in MATLAB environment and video presentations of examples are presented in DVD-QR code. This book is of interest to a wide range of professionals, including students, designers, and researchers in the field of Solid Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, adding new color to their education in Differential Equation research.

Tahir Khaniyev - İhsan Ünver - Zafer Küçük - Tülay Kesemen In this book titled "Solution Problems in Probability Theory", we have included the original problems we have created as well as the problems in Turkish, Azerbaijani, English and mostly Russian sources. Our main aim in this study is to enrich students' mathematical thinking structures by enabling them to see as many problems as possible. We believe that this problem and exercise book, the first edition of which has been published, will be useful to all students taking probability courses.
In the first part of the book, after giving examples on “Basic Concepts of Probability Theory”, briefly permutation and combination, there are many examples suitable for n >2 dice rolls, especially among the examples suitable for the classical probability definition. In addition, examples that use probability rules related to the combination of at least two events are given weight. The probabilities of independent events, fully independent events and conditional probability, Bayes' theorem and problems complying with the total probability formulas are prepared. Finally, in the first chapter, very comprehensive geometric probability questions are solved.
The second part is devoted to discrete and continuous probability distributions. Bernoulli, binomial, discrete regular, geometric, negative binomial, hyper geometric, Poisson distributions from discrete distributions, regular, exponential, normal, Gamma, Weibull, Beta, Cauchy distributions from continuous distributions are discussed.
In the third chapter, problems on "Numerical and Functional Characteristics of Random Variables" are expressed and their solutions are presented to the reader in the form of exercises. In this section, the expected value, variance, higher order moments, moment generating and characteristic functions of random variables are examined.
We believe that it will be very useful to the faculty members who recommend this book as a supplementary book in our universities and to the students who apply to benefit from it.

Aziz Kutlar Today, time series or similar courses are taught in economics, business, health and engineering departments of universities. Researchers doing postgraduate education in these departments are much more interested in time series. The most important reason for this is observing how a series of variables change over time, wondering how these variables will take shape in the future, and being the subject of academic studies.
This book does not go into much of the theory or mathematics of time series. Only mandatory equations are included. Most of the time series employees see the problem of how to create a suitable model with a more suitable program, not the mathematics. We also planned to use a methodology that can be easily understood by every researcher, by following a simpler, more understandable and more easy-to-understand way. You will notice this easily when you start working.
Neyran ORHUNBİLGE In the author's 6-book statistics series, this book, which is an introduction to statistics and addresses the basic concepts of statistics, probability and probability distributions, appealing to a wide audience and in a plain language, has been updated and presented to the readers after the first edition has been exhausted and a new printing request has been received for years.
The topics covered are written in a plain language that the reader can understand. Answering the why question for each concept and method, as well as the how question, helps those who are interested in the subject to decide more easily which method to use in which situation. Numerous original examples and detailed solutions in the book provide great convenience in understanding the subjects.
Students, researchers and decision makers who are interested in statistics should benefit from this book or a similar book containing the same topics at the beginning, and should learn probability and probability distributions as well as descriptive statistics.
Abdurrahman Aktümsek, Gökalp Özmen Güler, Yavuz Selim Çakmak, Gökhan Zengin This book has been prepared for faculty or college students who take the biochemistry course in a short period of time, such as one semester. Although there are many translated and written biochemistry books in our country, what makes this book unique among them is that it has a content and appropriate volume that students can easily understand.
In the writing of the book, one of the most valid methods in learning and teaching, the "general to detailed method" was applied. At the beginning of each topic, a brief summary of that topic is given and then the details of the topic are given.
In order to better understand the information, the written information is associated with examples and analogies and supported by many formulas, pictures and tables.
Burhan Kacar It has been witnessed that the number of plant, soil and fertilizer analysis laboratories has increased rapidly in our country in recent years, and this number exceeds thirty in some provinces. The main reason for this is that the negativities in traditional (conventional) agriculture are clearly seen in our country, as in various countries, and the "Good Agricultural Practices, GAP" regulation came into force within the framework of the European Union (EU) harmonization program. The negative effects on the environment of the lack of guidance and control in the application of agricultural inputs, especially chemical fertilizers and pesticides, on human and animal health have been clearly seen.
Selim Çetinkaya Thermodynamics, which is one of the basic engineering sciences, is given in the work within the framework of logical order, since its subjects are settled. The titles in the work that will benefit students who receive technical sciences and engineering education at associate and undergraduate level are listed as follows:
Basic thermodynamic concepts and definitions, properties of pure matter, ideal gas and ideal gas laws, first law of thermodynamics, second law and entropy, basic processes, theoretical and real cycles of four and two-stroke engines, theoretical and real cycles of gas turbines, aviation gas turbines, steam power cycles, refrigeration and heat pump cycles, fuels and combustion.
In the book, the subjects are handled in a very concise manner; laws, procedures and practices are discussed in an easy-to-understand manner without going into details. SI units are used in the book, and many sample problems are included in each chapter to help understanding the topics and principles. A sufficient number of study problems are added at the end of the chapters and their answers are given at the end of the problems. In the appendices, there are various charts used in solving the problems in the book.
Akif Avcu Today, many different statistical processes have become an integral part of test development processes in order to examine the qualities that measurement tools should have. With the widespread use of measurement tools, these procedures have been accepted as a "standard" for many researchers. In particular, confirmatory factor analysis and explanatory factor analysis are carried out to examine the construct validity. On the other hand, it is seen that these analyzes carried out today are carried out with techniques based on item response theory. In addition, the examination of structural equivalence, person congruence, and differentiated item functions are increasingly used in studies to determine validity. In addition to providing theoretical explanations on this new understanding of the validity and reliability, this book also includes a content that explains how the analyzes are carried out in the R software environment and how the findings are interpreted. For this reason, the R software environment is introduced in a part of the book. In order to make it easier for researchers to make applications, the R codes of the sample analyzes and the data sets used are also available to the readers. With this book, it is hoped that the frequency of use of modern test development applications in future studies will increase.

Medical biology and genetics is the science of biology that studies the hereditary character that affects human existence and health. This book has been arranged according to the needs of the departments to be used during the conduct of the "Medical Biology and Genetics" course taught in the first years of Health Services programs and faculties. The selected course contents are handled in a general framework and aim to provide students with a basic perspective on the field. The chapters of the book are planned as seven chapters in accordance with this purpose. In the first three chapters, cell biology and metabolism are explained from simple to complex in the light of current literature. In the following three chapters, the structure and organization of hereditary material are explained and detailed information is given about genetic diseases affecting human health. In the last section, cancer genetics and pathogenesis are explained and the pathophysiological process from gene to cell behavior is discussed as a whole.
Students who are new to higher education have difficulty in understanding the main subjects of medical biology and genetics, which consist of abstract data. For this reason, the topics in the book are explained in an understandable language as well as being embodied with detailed drawings. Although the topics are explained briefly and concisely, they are supported by the current literature.
Ender M. Coşkunpınar In recent years, our knowledge has increased within the scope of research on the molecular basis of diseases. With the use of increasing knowledge in both medical biology and medical genetics, diseases caused by cellular and chromosomal changes, which have a genetic basis, are tried to be understood on the one hand and treated on the other. Written from this point of view, this book covers all topics from the beginning of life to cell death mechanisms under the main title of "Medical Biology". Under the main title of “Genetics”, it provides an integrity starting from the structure of DNA and RNA, including the features of the genetic code, mutations and inheritance patterns. The difference of our book from its counterparts written so far is that the second part includes molecular genetics applications and practical applications step by step. There are six chapters in the "Application" part of the book, in which medical biology and genetics are covered in fourteen chapters. This book, which has been prepared in accordance with the curriculum of the relevant boards of medical faculties, is a textbook that can be used in the relevant departments of health sciences faculties, dentistry faculties and health schools. This book, which has been prepared as a result of intense effort by following up-to-date data in a period of about two years, is a resource that undergraduate, graduate students and all academics can benefit from.
Diler Aslan Medical (clinical) laboratory management has a key position in the healthcare sector in terms of human health, patient safety, quality of community/population life and cost effective healthcare expenditures. Medical/Clinical laboratories (MLs/CLs) are also the data centers of healthcare institutions. Laboratory tests are requested from approximately 80% of individuals admitted to a health institution, and 70-80% of medical decisions are made based on the test results. In addition to providing reliable test results to each individual/patient in a timely and cost-effective manner, information about public health status can also be obtained from laboratory data.
Their success in these responsibilities and duties is directly proportional to their ability to
establish a well-structured risk, quality and process-based system.
In this book: a risk, quality and process-based management model is presented. The book covers the steps of recognizing and introducing the process framework of a medical (clinical) laboratory that is composed of the management and support processes. The total examination process, which is the main core process of an ML/CL, is composed of 5 subprocesses. The steps also include the application of risk and quality management to every process. By following this book, the laboratory professional will be able to define and introduce all the processes of a ML/CL and establish the management system with the process approach. Laboratory professionals will be able to familiarize themselves with each process and create process-oriented risk and quality management systems following the recommended steps. A continuous process improvement system, based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) Cycle, will also be established. Hence, the ML/CL will be prepared to meet all the requirements of external assessment programs, including the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard, the excellence models such as the EFQM, and the Accreditation Standard ISO 15189:2022 for Medical Laboratories-Requirements for Quality and Competence.". The book is designed to be used as a handbook and consists of 22 chapters. The reader will be able to define the process framework of a medical laboratory and identify its documents according to the document hierarchy. Additionally, they can structure the total testing process, which includes preanalytical, analytical, and postanalytical processes both inside and outside the laboratory. Furthermore, the book covers topics on management and support processes as well as data analysis, the development of training programs for laboratory professionals and providing the useful information to the patients. Moreover, the book reviews the governance system, the
alignment of process objectives with strategic goals, outcomes of performed projects related to the medical laboratory management, and the essential competencies for a medical laboratory manager.
This book should be read with the book “Process-Based Management Are You Ready for Digital Transformation? (For Public, Private and Non-Governmental Organizations) by Diler Aslan”

Gökhan Budak - Yüksel Özdemir It is known that the latest advances and developments in physics will carry applications and developments in almost every field of other sciences to the present day. Considering this situation, it is important to understand the concepts of physics well in terms of helping the development of science branches.
This book; it is composed of the lecture notes of Vibrations and Waves Physics that we taught at Atatürk University, Faculty of Science, Physics Department between the 1995-2010 academic years. This textbook will also benefit the Vibrations and Waves Laboratory course, which is compulsory. Physics of Vibrations and Waves is one of the compulsory courses taught in the first semester of the second year in the Physics Departments of the Faculties of Science and Education of universities.
The purpose of turning these lecture notes, which are taught under the name of Vibration and Waves, into a book is that there are not enough books written in Turkish at undergraduate and graduate levels. This problem makes itself felt even more in science. Because it is not possible for university students to follow foreign sources because they do not know a foreign language. We believe that this book will be useful for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Celâl ER - Dilek BAŞALMA Seeds and seeds are the source of life. The propagation and reproduction material used or involved in the reproduction and reproduction of plants and animals, and in a broader sense of all living beings, is called seed and seed. Especially seeds, seeds, seedlings, saplings and all kinds of breeders used in agriculture have a unique (belonging) importance and this importance cannot be discussed. The seed and the seed pod is the hiding place of all the features and beauty. Even the hidden secrets of life are here. Man has been trying to reveal and read these hidden secrets since the day he began to use seeds and seeds consciously in production and reproduction. This struggle and effort of humanity will continue for eternity (until the Day of Judgment).
One of the most important proverbs in our beautiful Turkish is “What you sow, you reap!”. In that case, it is essential to use seeds and seeds of high-yielding and high-quality varieties in order to obtain a quality product and high yield. Only in this way is it possible to engage in a profitable activity. In other words, to say basically, among the production inputs, seeds and seeds, more generally, the production material used have a special place. Farmers and producers who understand this fact properly will always gain. “The harvest of the additional seed, the mourning of absence.” The proverb expresses this situation appropriately and meaningfully.
Each seed represents a new beginning. Every seed that is a new beginning is a link with the past, a healthy and meaningful bridge between the old and the new. In many ways, the study of the seed is the study of life itself. A single seed forms a neatly wrapped package containing a living organism capable of displaying almost all the stages found in a mature plant. By examining the seed or the germinating seedling, man; He also learned a lot about growth regulators, respiration, cell division, morphogenesis, photosynthesis and other activities. Although botanists have learned a great deal about seeds and seeds since the early 20th century, there are still many unknown aspects of the seed. For this reason, as today, in the future, seeds will be of interest and research.
Cevat İnal, Ali Erdi, Ferruh Yıldız In our country, maps in different scales are produced for different purposes. These maps are used by different professionals in all kinds of projects and applications based on the earth. Technical staff outside the map industry should know and be able to apply the subject and simple measurement techniques in order to be able to carry out the technical principles and application projects related to the production of these maps they use. This work has been prepared in such a way that it can be a reference source for the problems related to topography of technical staff working in sectors such as construction, architecture, city and regional planning, geology, mining, environment and agriculture, especially outside the mapping sector. In addition, the main issues of the map-cadastre sector related to topographic measurements are also included in the work.

Microbiology has always been intertwined with transfusion medicine from the very beginning. With our current knowledge, viral hepatitis and later HIV have been observed as inevitable and persistent complications of transfusions long after the onset and development of transfusion. For more than four decades, blood centers have struggled with the control of these and other transfusion-transmitted microorganisms. In the years before the routine screening of hepatitis (especially hepatitis C), blood transfusions were accepted as the main mode of transmission of these agents. Subsequent HIV transmission could also be a major transfusion tragedy.
All these have taught us that the process must be managed with serious actions in ensuring blood transfusion safety. Today, even more unpredictable factors have emerged, and it seems that they will continue to emerge and besiege humanity.
Aziz Kutlar Today, econometrics has become one of the indispensable analysis tools of economics. All kinds of approaches within the scope of economic theory are subject to econometrics. One of the most important reasons for this is that this branch of science is increasingly dealing with numbers, and the second is the rapid development in computer technology. Tests and predictions of the most complex theories are finalized in a very short time by computer programs. Within the framework of these observations, this book in your hand aims to make econometric analysis, which has become boring with numbers, cute and understandable through computer programs. It is thought that such a study will be very useful for those who are too afraid of mathematics and numbers. In the book, a number of programs (PcGive, PcFiml, etc.) operating under EViews, SPSS, MINITAB, and GiveWin, which are widely used in the world and in Turkey, are included.
Neyran Orhunbilge The book presented by the author to the members of the jury as a “Professor Presentation” is the first of the 6-book Statistics Series. "Regression and Correlation Analysis", which is one of the most fundamental subjects of "statistics", which in a sense forms the basis of "Multivariate Statistical Methods", is discussed in detail in the book, which was published for the first time in 1996, for the second edition in 2002 and for the third edition in 2017.
As it is known, this analysis, which is one of the most frequently used methods in determining "Forecast and Policy" especially in Business Administration, is examined theoretically by distinguishing between population and sample in the book, the validity of the assumptions is examined, and how to find solutions for deviations from the assumptions, if any, is included. Applications are presented both with detailed solutions and as computer (SPSS Program) outputs.

What is space law? What are space policies? What does space wars mean? What's the trend? What did Turkey do about space, what could not?
Space has always been and will continue to be a subject that has occupied humanity since time immemorial. Although books have been written on the subject of space in many languages, there is no book that covers the history of space sciences, today's space technologies, law and politics under a single cover, neither in Turkish nor in a foreign language. In an area where superstitions roam, this book; It explains scientific, technological and political developments in a language that everyone can understand.

Feyyaz Cengiz Dikmen Many useful methods for data analysis have been developed in the field of statistics, and most of these methods are ready and waiting to be used in R. Interest in R language(m) is increasing day by day as it makes it possible to access many resources and data on the internet. The data to be used in practice is also very important, especially for understanding a statistical analysis. In addition to the datasets built in the R language, every web page describing statistical data analysis using the R language also includes application data. This leads to an easy comprehension of the R language. Another advantage of the R language is that high quality graphics can be obtained by easily installing various graphics software packages into the R environment. It is also free and flexible since it is open-source. Authors of new statistical methods contribute regularly to many libraries in R, so R is a living language.
With these features, it is a unique software for undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students. It is a very enjoyable, attractive and indispensable language for those who work in the fields of statistics and econometrics, as it has a wide range of resources and is easily accessible. This book aims to spread, popularize and support the use of the R programming language within the framework of the above-mentioned motives and is designed for all scientists who need to analyze data on their own. Intended for practitioners faced with data analysis, this book is practice-oriented in this respect. I hope that the book, in which the writing of mathematics is reduced as much as possible, and more attention is drawn to examples and intuition, will be useful...
